How to get house points:

New House Members
Each new member that a house gets, will receive twenty points for their house.

House Art
Each new piece of artwork a member submits to their club will receive five points.

House Games
For everyone who enters to play a house game, the house will receive five points for every comment they receive on the game.

House Contests
When a house runs a contest, it will receive ten points for every entry into that contest, and when the winner is decided, a furthur fifty points will be rewarded to that house.

House Trades
Intrahouse trades will receive ten points for each party that successfully finishes a piece of work for another person.

School Games
For everyone who enters into a school game, each house will receive ten points for comments made, so long as the person commenting remembers to mention which house they're in!

School Contests
Everyone who enters a school contest - except for the Quidditch contest, which runs slightly differently, will receive twenty points from Hogwarts. When the winner is decided, they will win 150 points for their house. It is very important to mention which house you're in!

School Trades
When two people enter into an interhouse trade, they will not receive any points until the finality of the trade has been reached, at which point, the two people in question must note Hogwarts with the subject 'Finished Trade' to notify the headmaster that a trade has been completed. They must mention which houses they're in, or I won't be able to add points to the houses. Each house will receive twenty points each for such a trade.

How to get your points to count:
For In-House points, please message the headmaster, or a specified member of your choice to tell them that you have qualified to earn points, and to add them to the tally that will be sent in each week.

For In-School points, the headmaster will count them up each week, being Sunday, or as soon as possible after that date, and submit the points to the House totals.

How the points will be tallied:
Each head of house, or a helper specified by the head of house, will tally up their points at the end of each week, being sunday - or as soon as possible after that date, and note the main page of Hogwarts with their house name and the date in the subject. Then on the next day, or as soon as possible after that date, the points will be displayed on the main page for all to see.

If you can, please list the total points for each reason, such as Trades: 150 points, New members: 80 points, Contest entries: 110 points, etceteras.

Schools that don't submit lists of points won't get points for that week, so please remember!
